Red Nose Day success and weekly news

What a busy and brilliant week it’s been at Ordsall Primary School!

Red Nose Day Success!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported Red Nose Day this year. We’re delighted to share that all 420 red noses have been completely sold out – what an incredible show of community spirit!

Today, the school has been a sea of red as children and staff dressed up to mark the occasion. Our wonderful School Councillors have been working hard behind the scenes decorating cakes for the bake sale, and every child had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious treat in exchange for their donation. Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a fun and successful event!

World Down Syndrome Day

Today also marks World Down Syndrome Day, and we’ve taken time to reflect, learn, and build our understanding of inclusion and acceptance. A very special thank you to Reuben, who shared a brilliant video with the school – it sparked thoughtful conversations and helped bring the message to life. Book Fair Begins

We’re excited to announce that our School Book Fair is now open! Come along to the school hall after school to browse a fantastic selection of books. It’s a great opportunity to find something new to enjoy while also supporting our school.

Stars of the Week

Finally, a big well done to our Stars of the Week – your display of the school's RESPECT values have really shone through. We’re so proud of you all!

Wishing all our families a restful and happy weekend.
